General

All shooters must register at the Range desk with a valid ID before entering. IL residents must have a FOID card. Non IL residents must present a drivers' license or state issued ID.

 

All persons using the range must sign a waiver. The range waiver form must be re-signed annually.

 

You must be 18 or older to use the range and have a valid FOID card. An adult must accompany anyone under 18.

 

NO ONE IS PERMITTED BEYOND FIRING LANE.

 

Eye & Ear protection will be worn by shooters & anyone observing in range area.

Range Specifics

THE RANGE OFFICER HAS THE RIGHT TO INSPECT ALL FIREARMS AND AMMUNITION TO BE USED ON THE RANGE.

 

[AMMO] NO TRACER, ARMOR PIERCING, STEEL CASING AMMUNITION, OR SHOT SHELLS ARE ALLOWED.

 

Fire arms being carried to and from the firing line must be unloaded and carried in a safe manner, in a gun box, bag, or a concealed holster.

Firing

No dry firing is permitted, except while on the firing line with the muzzle pointed down range.

 

In case of misfire, keep the firearm pointed down range for at least 30 seconds. After waiting, clear the firearm and check the barrel for obstructions.

 

No quick draw from holster. No kneeling down to shoot. No shooting under booth counters.

Shoot only at your own target.
